Royal Caribbean International opened bookings for 2028 Alaska, offering seven-night cruises from Seattle, Seward and Vancouver, BC, with optional land extentions.
Once again, the line will deploy four ships there, including the recently amplified Ovation of the Seas, along with Quantum-class sister Anthem of the Seas, Radiance-class Serenade of the Seas and Voyager-class Voyager of the Seas.
Cruisers can visit Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, explore Skagway's rustic charm and take in the rugged landscapes of Icy Strait Point. Aboard Anthem and Ovation, the all-glass North Star observation capsule provides sweeping views of mountains, glaciers and fjords.
Ovation of the Seas, which emerged with updates from a Singapore dry dock in April, will sail weekly roundtrips from Seattle between May and September. Sitka, Skagway and Juneau are on tap, along with scenic cruising of Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier.
The ship's updates included adding the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, Giovanni's Italian Kitchen replacing the Jamie Oliver-branded venue, Izumi Teppanyaki taking over the Wonderland dining space and the upper portion of the Music Hall becoming Sound Center, an adults-only, late-night lounge.
Anthem of the Seas will combine Alaska's coastline with immersive inland experiences on seven-night cruises featuring Hubbard Glacier and Ketchikan paired with optional two- to six-night cruise-tours exploring Denali National Park.
Weeklong roundtrips from Vancouver aboard Serenade of the Seas will visit Icy Strait Point, Prince Rupert, BC and Juneau.
Sitka, Juneau and Skagway and Victoria, BC are the destinations Voyager of the Seas will visit on its Seattle roundtrips.
