SSA Marine, one of the world's largest independent marine terminal operators and North America's leading cruise terminal operator, established a new office in Miami.
Located adjacent to Bayfront Park in downtown Miami's Southeast Financial Center, the office places SSA Marine's cruise division leadership team at the center of the world's largest cruise market and closer to the cruise lines, port authorities and customers it serves.
"We are thrilled to open our new Miami office in the heart of the global cruise industry," said Stefano Borzone, president of SSA Marine's cruise division. "Miami is where the cruise industry comes together, and having our team here allows us to be closer to our customers, strengthen critical partnerships and create new opportunities for growth across our business and the industry."
Borzone will continue to be bicoastal (Los Angeles and Miami), working frequently from the South Florida office.
Anna Poustie, director of commercial services and customer relations for SSA Marine's cruise division, leads the Miami office. SSA Marine's cruise division currently has nine employees in Miami with additional growth forecast in 2027.
SSA Marine's cruise division handles more than 25m passenger moves each year across 24 locations in the United States, Mexico and Canada. The company is also the leading cruise stevedore in Florida with operations at five of Florida's busiest ports — PortMiami, Port Everglades, Port Canaveral, Port Tampa Bay and JAXPORT.
