An Egyptologist tour director accompanies every Travelmarvel Egypt journey
October 1, 2026
Travelmarvel, part of the APT Travel Group, unveiled its 2028/29 Egypt, Jordan and Morocco programme, building on the previously released 2027 itineraries.
The programme offers passengers the opportunity to visit these destinations in comfort, with the inclusion of a Nile cruise aboard the company's river vessel, Travelmarvel Sirius.
The 124-passenger ship, which made its maiden voyage for Travelmarvel last month, marks the APT Travel Group's return to the Nile after more than a decade.
Each cabin has large picture windows, a queen-size bed that can be configured as twins, air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, mini-bar and a large walk-in shower.
Meals are served in the Nefertari Restaurant, and the Ramses Lounge and Bar is used for performances by visiting dancers and musicians.
A qualified Egyptologist tour director accompanies every Egypt journey.
A stand-out itinerary is the 11-day "Treasures of Egypt and the Nile" round trip from Cairo which includes a seven-night cruise aboard Travelmarvel Sirius between Luxor and Aswan.
There is an 18-day "Treasures of Egypt and the Nile with Hidden Jordan" tour and a "Treasures of Egypt and Morocco" tour.
New for the 2028/29 season is a two-night stay at the Steigenberger Cecil Hotel in Alexandria where a guided tour will visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and the Citadel of Qaitbay before continuing to the El Alamein War Cemetery.
