(1:45 p.m. EDT) — Uniworld Boutique River Cruises unveiled its 2028 program, featuring new ships and eight new itineraries.
The company will launch three new vessels in 2028: S.S. Helen, S.S. Clara and Mekong Mystique, expanding the brand's fleet to 22 ships.
S.S. Helen will sail the Danube, S.S. Clara will offer sailings on the Rhine, and the Mekong Mystique will expand the company's presence along the Mekong.
"2028 is shaping up to be an incredibly exciting year for Uniworld," said Ellen Bettridge, the line's president and CEO. "We're giving our guests the opportunity to see more, travel farther and experience some of our favorite destinations in entirely new ways.
"That could mean journeying from Amsterdam all the way to the Black Sea, experiencing the traditions and flavors of France during the holiday season, or exploring the Mekong aboard our newest ship."
New itineraries for 2028 range from eight to 30 days, with destinations across Europe and Asia.
Featured voyages include a 30-night "Amsterdam to the Black Sea" and a 25-night "Eastern Europe Exploration" aboard S.S. Helen or S.S. Clara.
Also new is the 18-day "Danube East & West," which connects Vienna and Bucharest across seven countries, and the 15-day "Grand France Holiday," which combines the Rhône and Seine.
The company is also offering new shorter voyages of eight or nine days, including the "Empires of the Lower Danube," the "Dutch & Flemish Treasures," and the "Rhone Winter Holiday."
The eight-day "Moselle Holiday Markets" aboard S.S. Clara will sail from Düsseldorf to Trier, visiting Christmas markets and medieval villages including Cochem, Bernkastel and Koblenz.
Uniworldalso announced a new Mystery Journey for 2028, sailing June 15. The 11-night journey comes with only two clues: guests will arrive through Luxembourg Airport and depart from Zürich Airport. The rest of the details will remain under wraps until departure.
