VIking Takes Delivery of New Ocean Ship, Viking Mira

Viking has taken delivery of its 15th ocean ship, Viking Mira, at Fincantieri's shipyard in Ancona, Italy. The vessel accommodates 998 passengers in 499 staterooms and will embark on its maiden voyage on June 5, sailing from Rome (Civitavecchia) to Barcelona with calls in Livorno, Cannes, Marseille and Sete. The cruise line is also preparing for the arrival of Viking Libra, scheduled for November 2026, which will be the world's first hydrogen-powered cruise ship capable of operating with zero emissions.
