Carnival's Celebration Key reaches 2.4 million cruisers in inaugural year

Carnival Cruise Line's Celebration Key in Grand Bahama marked its first anniversary on July 19, 2026, welcoming 2.4 million cruisers since opening July 19, 2025. The destination has created approximately 1,000 year-round jobs, with more than 80% of food and retail operators locally owned. Carnival also expanded its sustainability initiatives, including a Community Coffee Grounds Initiative collecting nearly 2,800 pounds of spent coffee weekly from Mardi Gras for composting, and redirected 318 pounds of prepared meals to community organizations.
