The Cameroon-flagged Ro-Ro/containership Lider Bordo Mavi was attacked off the coast of Tuapse, Russia, on 26 August with five crew members reportedly injured.

According to Turkish media reports, Lider Bordo Mavi departed Samsun Port, Turkey, on 25 August carrying vegetables en route to Tuapse when it was struck by three drones. The attack triggered a fire aboard the vessel, injuring five crewmembers.
There has been no detailed information regarding the condition of the injured or the extent of the damage to the ship.
Lider Bordo Mavi is a 1985-built vessel that is operated by the Trabzon-based shipping company Lider Gida. The vessel is among the Lider fleet operating between Turkey and Russia. The vessel measures 121.48 meters in length, 21 meters in width and has a carrying capacity of 4,818 tonnes.
