MTC Participated in Multi-Hazard National Drill to Strengthen Emergency Response Capacity

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) participated in the Multi-Hazard National Drill for a large-magnitude earthquake followed by a tsunami on the central coast of the country, with the participation of Minister Aldo Prieto Barrera and sector officials. The exercise strengthened coordination between the ministry's departments and entities of the National Disaster Risk Management System (SINAGERD), and included the first test of the Operational Continuity Plan (PCO) 2026.
