Maersk introduces rail-to-truck conversion surcharges for Canadian inland services

Maersk announced new surcharge options for Canadian inland transport, enabling customers to convert rail bookings to truck service starting July 1, 2026. The Single Truck Surcharge (STS) applies to export moves, while Single Truck Delivery (STD) covers imports. Charges are applied per container as separate invoice line items when shipments are executed as single-container truck moves due to customer request or operational requirements.
