Argentina's National Agency of Ports and Navigation (Anpyn) has officially granted port authorization to Puerto Quequén, a resolution that consolidates the complex's operation under the framework established by the National Law on Port Activities.
The national provision officially recognizes the site as provincial in nature, for public use, and with a commercial purpose, strengthening its legal and operational status.
Under the coordination of the operational management, led by Gustavo Gavilán, with the permanent support of the board of directors and the commitment of workers from various areas, the port successfully demonstrated to the National Port Authority compliance with the technical, operational, infrastructural, and administrative conditions required by current legislation.
The resolution issued by the National Agency of Ports and Navigation is not merely an administrative act, but an official recognition of the operation, planning, maintenance, and improvements executed by the Consortium, consolidating Puerto Quequén as a fully authorized port to continue developing its commercial activity under the highest standards established by national regulations.
The resolution also includes the terminals currently operating within the port complex: Terminal Sitio 0 de Quequén S.A., Terminales y Servicios S.A., Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas (ACA), Terminal Quequén S.A., Terminal de Fertilizantes S.A., and Pier Doce S.A.
In the grounds of the administrative act, the National Agency of Ports and Navigation indicated that Puerto Quequén complies with all infrastructure, land and water accessibility, safety, and operational conditions provided by Law 24.093 on Port Activities and its regulations.
Furthermore, it highlighted that the technical, legal, and engineering areas of the national body intervened, without any objections being raised for the granting of the authorization.
The resolution also establishes that the port must maintain the technical and operational conditions that gave rise to this authorization, a requirement provided by current regulations.
The measure was processed by the Puerto Quequén Management Consortium, which submitted the documentation required by current regulations and accredited the technical and operational conditions demanded by national legislation.
