The project has an estimated investment of S/ 402,714,317.21 and aims to strengthen the port terminal's maritime protection infrastructure, contributing to improving the operational conditions and safety of port activities carried out in this strategic facility for trade and connectivity in the southern part of the country.
The inclusion of this investment in the list of prioritized projects will promote the participation of the private sector through the Works for Taxes mechanism, a tool that facilitates the execution of public investment projects for the benefit of citizens and regional economic development.
With this initiative, the MTC reaffirms its commitment to strengthening national logistics infrastructure and promoting investments that contribute to improving connectivity, competitiveness, and sustainable growth in the regions.
The Ministerial Resolution also orders that a copy of the regulation be sent to PROINVERSIÓN for its corresponding publication and establishes its dissemination on the digital headquarters of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
