The Port of El Guamache (Venezuela) received the arrival of the CMA CGM Arica vessel, which unloaded 2,602 tons of various goods. The maneuver was carried out at the main dock of the aforementioned port facility.
According to the Ministry of Popular Power for Transport, "the operational deployment had the direct supervision of the General Manager of the island port, Samir Al Attrach, who verified the correct development of the work at the dock."
"In total, 203 containerized units were disembarked with priority items such as food, vehicles, machinery and spare parts, construction materials, hardware items, electronic products, among others," it added.
Furthermore, it was reported that "the day marked the operation with the loading of 20 containers for export from the island terminal, with international destination, consolidating the export engine. In this regard, the entity successfully dispatched strategic items such as seaweed, octopus, and frozen fish to international markets," the publication concluded.
