Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) announced that works to carry out landside infrastructure improvements at the Tiree Ferry Terminal, in Gott Bay, are scheduled to begin on August 24, 2026, following the award of a grant from Scottish ministers and the completion of the tender process.
As previously announced, CMAL appointed Mackenzie Construction Limited for the construction, a company that has been working with CMAL and key stakeholders to finalize construction phasing and traffic management plans.
These measures aim to ensure continuous access to the ferry terminal and minimize disruptions during the execution of the works.
The project will provide an expanded vehicle marshalling area, improved traffic management measures, and a replacement terminal building.
