The president of the La Plata Port Management Consortium, Susana González, along with the Undersecretary of Port Affairs of the Province of Buenos Aires, Juan Cruz Lucero, met with a delegation of businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, interested in exploring new investment opportunities in this port terminal.
During the meeting, held in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, the characteristics of La Plata Port (PLP) and its current and future potential for the sustained development of local port infrastructure were presented.
The participating companies made their presentation, focusing their profiles on their specialized experience in engineering and maritime services, terminal construction, and large-scale port infrastructure projects.
Having prior knowledge of PLP and after the meeting concluded, the attendees expressed interest in holding a new meeting to deepen and seek investment mechanisms in the public port of Buenos Aires.
Present at the meeting were the Provincial Director of Planning and International Cooperation, Mariano Barrios, as well as representatives from the Port of Bahía Blanca; Abdul Karim Sawan, CEO of Esyasoft Holding; Ahmed Elmohammy Noah, CEO National Pulse Group; Malik Boukebbous, Director of the International Office of NMDC Group; Arnoud Kuis, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of NMDC; and Sultan Saleh Al Marri, Project Manager at Abu Dhabi Ports.
