Lone Star Funds announced the sale of Vigor Marine Group, a provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, as well as manufacturing and naval services for the naval, defense, and commercial maritime sectors in the United States, to Antin Infrastructure Partners.
Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Vigor Marine Group operates shipyards and manufacturing facilities in five locations and employs approximately 2,700 people across the Pacific Northwest, Virginia, and California.
The company offers advanced services and comprehensive solutions for a variety of clients, including the Armed Forces, Coast Guard, state ferry systems, and the cruise and fishing industries.
During its ownership, Lone Star partnered with Vigor Marine Group's management team to expand its offerings and invest in its capabilities, including facility improvements and technological upgrades.
The company also integrated its business under a single brand and operating platform, thereby enhancing its ability to serve clients with critical needs. Today, Vigor Marine Group is a leading provider of maritime services, with a culture of innovation and dedication to its employees and the communities in which it operates.
