Regional Cost Recovery Surcharge - Trade from Europe to Middle East (UAE and Gulf)

In response to sustained demand growth on the trade from Europe to the Middle East (UAE and Upper Gulf), MSC will introduce a Regional Cost Recovery (RCR) surcharge.

As from 01 October 2026 (booking date) until further notice, the RCR will be charged as follows:

• Containers 20’ / 40’ DRY USD 1000 per unit
• Containers 20’ / 40’ REEFER USD 2000 per unit
• Containers 20’ / 40’ Special (Upon Request)
