We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to our Asia - East Coast South America network.
Following a joint decision between Maersk and CMA CGM, the current cooperation on the ASAS2 service will come to an end. The last voyage operated under this arrangement will depart Shanghai on 8 December 2026, voyage 650W.
While ASAS2 will be discontinued, we are pleased to reaffirm Maersk's continued commitment to the East Coast South America trade through our ASAS service, which remains a fully Maersk-operated and Maersk-controlled product.
The ASAS service has established itself as a strong and resilient product connecting Asia and East Coast South America, and this change reinforces Maersk's ability to independently manage and further develop the service in line with customer needs and market requirements.
We remain focused on delivering the service reliability, schedule integrity, and customer experience that our customers expect from Maersk, and we look forward to continuing to support your supply chain through our dedicated East Coast South America network.
Should you have any questions regarding this update, please contact your local Maersk representative or Customer Experience team.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership.
