Maersk announces peak season surcharge for Asia-Oceania routes

Maersk introduced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for container shipments from 16 Asian origins to 14 Oceania destinations, effective PCD 1st November 2026. Charges range from USD 300-500 for 20'dry containers and USD 600-1,000 for 40'dry and 40'hdry containers, depending on destination. The surcharge applies to non-SPOT bookings only and is collected on a freight paid basis.
