The Ruby Princess, from Princess Cruises, with over 3,000 passengers and 1,200 crew members on board, visited the port of Manzanillo this Wednesday, opening the 2026-2027 season.
The vessel docked at 8 AM at the Cruise Terminal and departed at 5 PM, to continue towards Puerto Vallarta. It will then call at Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas before returning to its home port.
The Ruby Princess, whose home port is San Francisco, CA, was built in the Fincantieri shipyards, the leading shipbuilding company in Europe, in Trieste, Italy, and had its maiden voyage in 2008.
It was in Manzanillo under the care of the shipping agency MexShipping. It has a length of 290 meters, a beam of 36 meters, and a draft of 8 meters.
The Administración del Sistema Portuario Nacional Manzanillo is responsible for facilitating the administrative and operational processes for the arrival and departure of passenger ships visiting Manzanillo, decisively contributing to the success of these tours which in turn strengthen tourism activity.
