The Environmental Development Management, through the Sub-Management of Environmental Management, carried out the VI Green Crusade at the San Antonio Children's Village in Cajamarca. This activity was organized in coordination with Ms. Liliana Lezama Oribe, head of the Municipal EDUCCA Program, and Mr. Jhonatan Alexander Vásquez Vera, director of the Children's Village.
During the event, employees of the Provincial Municipality of Cajamarca and the Aldea staff, along with the children, actively participated in planting 300 ornamental plants. The excitement of the little ones while planting was palpable, transforming this experience into an opportunity to beautify their surroundings and practically educate them about nature care.
These actions not only reinforce the commitment to the environment but also promote essential values in the youngest, teaching them the importance of caring for plants from their growth.
The Provincial Municipality of Cajamarca will continue to carry out activities at the San Antonio Children's Village with the aim of fostering environmental education and the care of the natural environment throughout Cajamarca.
