The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) appointed Sayuri Bayona Matsuda as the new Vice Minister of Foreign Trade, through Supreme Resolution N° 006-2026-MINCETUR, published today in the Official Gazette El Peruano.
The resolution was signed by the President of the Republic, Keiko Fujimori, and endorsed by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Rogers Valencia.
The new Vice Minister has over twelve years of professional experience in foreign trade policies, international negotiation, and market development. Bayona Matsuda replaces César Llona, who served as Vice Minister of Foreign Trade since November 2025.
At Mincetur, Bayona Matsuda has held various responsibilities related to the country's trade policy. She served as Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and as an advisor to the Vice Ministry of Foreign Trade.
