Concessionaires under the supervision of the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Public Use Transport Infrastructure (Ositran) valued investments at US$ 825.5 million from January to July this year, a 21.3% increase compared to the US$ 680.7 million executed in the same period of 2025.
It detailed that the airport sector led the valued investments during the first seven months of the year with US$ 435.7 million, representing a 38.6% growth compared to the same period of 2025.
Meanwhile, investments in roads reached US$ 80.8 million, an amount that exceeds by US$ 55.3 million that registered in the similar period of the previous year.
This result represented an increase of 46.1%, the highest percentage growth among all supervised sectors.
In the railways and Lima Metro sector, valued investments totaled US$ 298.1 million, equivalent to a 0.8% growth compared to the same period of 2025.
Meanwhile, the port sector registered valued investments of US$ 10.9 million, a 76% reduction compared to 2025.
During July 2026, Ositran recognized investments of US$ 151.1 million in concessioned transport infrastructure, an amount 2.7% higher than that registered in July 2025.
In the Road Network, the valuations registered in IIRSA Norte: Paita-Yurimaguas, stood out with US$ 9.1 million mainly in Ancillary Works in sectors such as the Querpón Bridge, Section 1: Yurimaguas-Tarapoto and Section 3: Corral Quemado Rioja, and IIRSA Sur Section 4: Azángaro-Inambari, with US$ 4.7 million for the progress in the execution of the Ancillary Work for Road Safety-Improvement of the Asillo-San Antón Sub-section (km 75+300 to 100+500) and the Ancillary Work Urban Insertion and Drainage Conditioning of the Sangari Populated Center- Sector km 276+500 to 277+500.
In the airport sector, the main driver was the Jorge Chávez International Airport, where investments of US$ 122.7 million were valued during July in direct and indirect investments made by the concessionaire in the expansion project.
In railways and Lima Metro, investments of US$ 10.3 million were recognized, mainly associated with the development of Line 2 and the Faucett-Gambetta branch of the Lima and Callao Metro, including investments in station material and installation of railway systems in Section 1, such as the electrical power and traction system, the telecommunications system, and the passenger control system, the provision of prefabricated beams, prefabricated structures, structural steels and track superstructure, civil works, architecture and installations of the Bolognesi, Estación Central, Manco Cápac, Cangallo, 28 de Julio, Nicolás Ayllón, Circunvalación, San Juan de Dios stations, and ventilation shafts.
For its part, in the port sector, US$ 2.5 million were valued, mainly in the Paita Port Terminal, which registered investments of US$ 1.1 million for the acquisition of two bulldozers and two electric spreaders, and in the Salaverry Multipurpose Port Terminal, with US$ 900,000 for advances in the Expansion of the Anthracite and Other Bulk Storage Area-Anthracite Park.
At the close of July 2026, the accumulated investment recognized by Ositran in concessioned transport infrastructure reached US$ 14,750.4 million, equivalent to 64.3% of the reference investment committed in the supervised projects.
