Maersk to Suspend Sailings on Canada Atlantic Express Due to Winter Weather in North Atlantic

Maersk announced a program of blank sailings on its Canada Atlantic Express service due to the severity of winter weather in the North Atlantic. The shipping company will adjust its sailing plans so that there will be no sailings every fifth week during the winter months. The program will come into effect starting in October, proactively addressing historical impacts on schedule reliability.
