JSHT to Build Two 82,000 DWT Bulk Carriers for Fujian Shipping Group

Fujian Shipping Group signed a contract with Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. (JSHT) to build two 82,000 DWT bulk carriers. On July 29, 2026, the Jin Hai Qian was christened and delivered; construction of the second unit began on May 8 with delivery scheduled for early 2027. The vessels comply with IMO's EEDI Phase III with low carbon emissions.
