Four Educational Institutions in Tarapacá Secure Funds for Environmental Projects with ITI Support
Four educational institutions in the Tarapacá Region have been selected as winners of competitive funds for environmental builder brigades, promoted by the Tarapacá Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Environment (Seremi de Medio Ambiente) and Iquique Terminal Internacional (ITI). Each institution will receive one million pesos to implement initiatives until October, focusing on topics such as gardens, efficient water use, composting, and astronomy. The initiative, now in its fifth year of joint development, aims to strengthen environmental education and train agents of change in new generations.
