Digital Platform Reduces Maritime Emissions in Namibian Ports
Prodevelop, in consortium with Cenit and WKN Trading Enterprise CC, will implement a digital port call optimization platform in Namibia's Walvis Bay and Lüderitz ports. The 18-month pilot project, funded by the European Union under Phase II of the Global MTCC Network, will support reductions of up to 7% in annual GHG emissions for ships while in port.
