Maersk Center Analyzes Decarbonization in the Port of San Antonio

A delegation from the Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping visited the Port of San Antonio to evaluate decarbonization opportunities and the development of green maritime corridors, focusing on trade flows between Chile and Europe. The Outer Port project plans to move up to 40% of cargo by rail, implement 100% electric cranes, and onshore power supply systems to reduce atmospheric emissions.
