American Cruise Lines launches American Maverick riverboat in Newport Harbor
American Cruise Lines officially christened American Maverick during its 9-night inaugural voyage in Newport Harbor, Rhode Island. The vessel, which accommodates 130 passengers across four decks with private balcony staterooms, is the second ship delivered to the company in 2026. The christening ceremony was conducted by Susan Renner, Board Chair and Treasurer of ACL and Chesapeake Shipbuilding. The company continues its fleet expansion with eight additional ships under construction.
