MT SANDPIPER Loads 8,000 Tons of Palm Oil at Port of Esmeraldas

The Singapore-flagged vessel MT SANDPIPER arrived at Pier No. 2 of the Port Authority of Esmeraldas to carry out loading operations. The vessel is 180 meters long and specializes in oil transport.

The ship entered in compliance with port security protocols and the pilotage maneuvers established for its operation. During its stay at the terminal, 8,000 tons of red palm oil are being loaded for international markets.

This operation allows an Ecuadorian agricultural product to be moved from the north of the country to international markets. The shipment also contributes to the movement of export cargo through the Port of Esmeraldas and to the commercial activity of the province.
