Cool Carriers receives second Snow-class reefer vessel from Kitanihon Shipbuilding
Cool Carriers took delivery of Snow Flake, the second next-generation Snow-class reefer vessel, officially named at Kitanihon Shipbuilding in Japan on 29 June. The vessel can transport up to 5,000 high-cube pallets of perishable cargo and 168 refrigerated containers at 18 knots. Snow Flake and sister ship Snow Flower are the first two of seven vessels scheduled for delivery by 2028, strengthening Cool Carriers' position on key refrigerated trade routes.
