Barge Convoy Pulled by Tugboat Collides with Moored Tanker in Argentina
A barge convoy led by tugboat HB Perseus collided with the anchored tanker Ginga Bobcat in the Paraná River's main channel on 17 May at approximately 5:15 p.m. No injuries or pollution were reported. At least two barges temporarily broke free following the collision but were later recovered. The Argentine Naval Prefecture launched an investigation on 18 May, inspecting both vessels and interviewing those involved.
