The CNDC held an official working meeting with the Minister of Transport, Louis De Grange. During the meeting, the leaders urged the ministerial authority to commit to the modernization of ports, particularly San Antonio, as it handles the largest volume of cargo in the country.
At the meeting, various topics related to the development of the transport industry, both nationally and locally, were also addressed, including regulatory aspects and the strengthening of the activity.
Safety, including its road variant, was another topic of great interest.
The CNDC leaders, headed by President Juan Araya, evaluated the meeting as useful and very necessary, especially for reopening direct dialogue between both parties, which was very scarce in the previous administration. In this regard, a mechanism was agreed upon to continue deepening and advancing on priority issues.
