Record 290,000 Cruise Passengers Expected at Vancouver in July

The Port of Vancouver expects record-breaking cruise passenger volumes in July and August 2026, with 290,000 passengers anticipated in July alone—the highest monthly figure ever recorded at Canada Place. The port projects 1.4 million passenger visits and 360 cruise ship calls for the full year, representing a 30 percent increase compared to 2019. More than three-quarters of travelers now spend time locally before or after their cruise, up from 70 percent in 2023.
