Los Angeles Port Handles 960,464 TEUs in Second-Strongest July
The Port of Los Angeles processed 960,464 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in July, marking its second-highest July on record. Volume declined 6% from last year's record but remained 7.5% above the five-year average. The strong performance follows June's 1,002,734 TEUs, as retailers accelerated cargo shipments ahead of tariff changes and supply chain uncertainties.
