Viva Cruises' 2028 programme is its largest yet, featuring 332 departures across seven ships and major European rivers, including the Rhine, Douro, Danube and Dutch Waterways.
Available to book from October 15, 2026, the programme runs from January to December and includes four new itineraries.
The new itineraries include a 14-night 'Grand European Journey to Budapest' on Viva Enjoy, departing Amsterdam and calling at Cologne, Koblenz, Mainz, Wertheim, Würzburg, Bamberg, Nuremberg, Regensburg, Passau, Melk, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest, departing May 25.
A seven-night 'Meuse Moments in the Netherlands' on Viva Tiara will sail roundtrip from Düsseldorf, calling at Nijmegen, Maastricht, Roermond, Venlo, Gorinchem, Dordrecht and Utrecht, with three departures in June and July.
The seven-night 'Enchantment on the Ijsselmeer' on Viva One sails roundtrip from Düsseldorf, calling at Amsterdam, Medemblik, Enkhuizen, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Willemstad, Dordrecht and Arnhem, with four departures in June, July and August.
A 10-night 'Wine Journey Between Basel & Nancy' on Viva Ruby departs Basel, calling at Breisach, Strasbourg, Speyer, Bingen, Koblenz, Cochem, Bernkastel, Trier, Metz and Nancy, departing October 5.
The 2028 season features themed options covering wellness, jazz, culinary and wine itineraries. Viva will visit four new ports of call: Bingen and Glückstadt in Germany, and Medemblik and Lemmer in the Netherlands, with new excursions including wine tasting at the Disibodenberg Monastery Ruins in Bingen and a visit to the village of Giethoorn when in Lemmer.
Michelle Daniels, director of sales, UK & Ireland and Australia & New Zealand at Viva Cruises, said: "Our 2028 programme represents an important step forward… The addition of new ports, experiences and themed cruises also allows returning guests to discover something different, with itineraries showcasing the culture, cuisine, landscapes and character of each destination."
VIVA Cruises also unveiled the 2028 programmes for its two Viva Boutique ships – Viva Beyond and Viva Unique – including a new Champagne-themed sailing, specialist culinary and cultural departures, and the introduction of a Venice Carnival city stay option.
The 112-passenger VIVA Beyond will operate on the Seine from February to December, while 104-passenger Viva Unique will sail in Italy from February to December, with itineraries across the Po River and Venetian Lagoon.
Viva Beyond will offer a mix of three-, five-, six- and seven-night itineraries including a three-night 'Paris City Stay.' Available February to March and November to December, the vessel will remain in the heart of the city, acting as a floating boutique hotel. Prices start from £750pp.
A seven-night 'Culinary Cruise France' sails roundtrip from Paris, calling at Vernon, Les Andelys, Rouen, Caudebec, Le Havre and La Roche Guyon. It features an exclusive dinner at Michelin-starred chef David Görne's Manoir de Rétival and insight from Viva's master of wine, Romana Echensperger, who will lead tastings, masterclasses and paired menus. Departing May 13, prices start from £3395pp, including all excursions.
A new seven-night 'Champagne & Sparkling Cruise' sails roundtrip from Paris, calling at Conflans, Rouen, Le Havre, Caudebec and Vernon. Romana Echensperger will lead tastings, masterclasses and paired menus, with a full day exploring the Champagne region. Departing July 29, prices start from £3150pp, including all excursions.
Viva Unique will offer a mix of three-, five-, six- and seven-night cruises including a three-night 'Venice City Stay,' with the ship remaining in the heart of Venice, available February to March, including during the Venice Carnival, and November to December, with prices starting from £750pp.
A seven-night 'Gourmet Cruise' departs Venice, calling at Mazzorbo, Taglio di Po, Polesella, Boretto and Cremona, departing October 1, with prices starting from £3395pp, including all excursions. Romana Echensperger, master of wine, will be onboard.
Daniels added: "Our 2028 Boutique programme brings together new itineraries, themed cruises and regional experiences across France and Italy… With enhanced experiences, new extensions and a wealth of onboard extras, we're continuing to develop a more personalised and immersive way to discover these regions."
Viva Beyond launched earlier this year, while Viva Unique will set sail from May 2027.
