New cruise terminal inaugurated in Philadelphia for Norwegian Pearl operations
Philadelphia officially opened its new cruise terminal on Thursday, August 27th, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at PhilaPort in Southwest Philadelphia. Norwegian Pearl is scheduled to arrive in November and will operate round-trip itineraries from PhilaPort to Bermuda, the Bahamas, Canada and New England. The project was delayed by severe winter weather but marks the restoration and expansion of the city's role as a cruise port.
