Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd Resume Container Services via Suez Canal
Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd will resume four joint container services through the Suez Canal, including the AE5, AE11, AE12, and ME2 routes connecting Asia, the Mediterranean, and Europe. The move aims to offer more efficient transit times following a gradual return to the corridor after attacks in the Red Sea. The companies, which formed the Gemini network last year, will continue to monitor the situation in the Middle East.
