Rail shuttle service links Rotterdam to Munich for trailer transport
Outdoor Life Group and Bos Dynamics launched a rail shuttle service via Rotterdam to Munich in May 2026, transporting trailers between the Netherlands and Southern Germany. The Bayern Express connection, operated by Hutchison Port Europe intermodal (HPEI), reduces road mileage and CO₂ emissions. Currently operating with ten trailers—four departing weekly to Munich and four returning—the partners plan to scale up if results remain positive.
