Great White Fleet Corporation (GWF) announced the expansion of its operational capacity with the incorporation of the vessel Chiquita Enterprise and 2,000 new refrigerated containers. The expansion seeks to meet the demand for perishable and frozen products during the peak trade season between America and Europe.
The company will also implement new maritime and rail connections to optimize transit times and expand logistics options. Among them, the Ecuador–Global Markets Express service stands out, which will directly link Guayaquil with important ports in the United States and Europe.
The incorporation of high-efficiency refrigeration equipment and the use of technologies to preserve cargo quality seek to strengthen the cold chain. These initiatives expand transportation alternatives for Ecuadorian exports and favor their connection with international markets.
