Port of Salvador Moves 115,876 Tons of Cotton with 12% Growth in H1 2026
The Port of Salvador moved 115,876 tons of cotton in the first half of 2026, registering a 12.09% increase compared to the 103,375 tons in 2025. According to the Bahian Cotton Producers Association (Abapa), the harvest exceeded 96,000 hectares, 23% more than the previous season. The weekly Bahia-China sea route has favored exports to Asian markets.
