Terminal Portuario de Manta (TPM) was included for the second consecutive year in the Olive Circle, an initiative by environmental verifier Sambito that brings together organizations committed to sustainability, climate action, and the circular economy.
In this edition, TPM received two distinctions: the Black Olive, for its environmental planning, technical rigor, and compliance; and the Green Olive, for measuring, managing, and offsetting its carbon footprint. These recognitions highlight its actions in environmental responsibility.
The distinction reflects the incorporation of sustainability criteria into port activity and the promotion of practices aimed at reducing environmental impact. These actions contribute to the development of more efficient and responsible operations within the logistics and maritime sector.
