Sepof 2026 Features First Port Scheduling Simulation in Australia
The Safe and Efficient Port Operations Forum (Sepof) 2026, hosted by the Port Authority of New South Wales, presented an operational simulation of port scheduling for the first time. Over 200 maritime and logistics professionals participated in the event, which included an inaugural panel of port captains. Captain John Finch emphasized that approximately 99% of Australia's trade is conducted by sea, making sector-wide coordination essential.
