Scandlines Carries 1.17 Million Passengers in July Between Germany and Denmark

Scandlines recorded over one million passengers in July 2026 on its routes between Germany and Denmark, with a total of 1,173,000 travelers. Saturday the 18th was the busiest day with almost 62,000 people, exceeding expectations. The shipping company implemented an additional freight ferry and used suspended decks to absorb demand, ensuring that problems at the Port of Rostock did not significantly affect the summer season's figures.
