The Port Community of Barcelona Promotes Marine Biodiversity with an Action Coinciding with World Environment Day
The Port of Barcelona led a collective action with 32 companies from the logistics and port sector to commemorate World Environment Day. The initiative, held at the facilities of the Barcelona Nautical Capital Foundation, combined coastal navigation with the construction of clay biotopes that will be submerged to facilitate the colonization of marine species and promote biodiversity. This is the sixth consecutive year that the Port Community has organized this joint action.
