The Suape Industrial – Port Complex handled the call of the new vessel Grande Inghilterra, belonging to Grimaldi Lines, which was delivered to the shipping company in April 2026.
The vessel arrived at the facility to unload 1,775 Leapmotor light electric vehicles, an action framed within the automotive company's entry into the Brazilian market.
"Considered a milestone in sustainable navigation, the Grande Inghilterra was designed to eliminate the emission of atmospheric pollutants during its stay in ports, contributing to a cleaner operation and aligned with global environmental practices," stated the port complex.
"The arrival of the cargo represents an important step for the expansion of sustainable mobility in the country and demonstrates our capacity to receive large-scale operations aligned with the energy transition and innovation in the automotive industry," indicated the company.
