The National Customs Service of Ecuador (SENAE) recorded a collection of $168.57 million in a single week, a new historical high that surpassed the previous record by 7.8%. This result reflects the dynamism of foreign trade operations and the activity of the country's main entry points.
The Guayaquil Maritime District registered a growth of 41.32% compared to the same period in 2025 and exceeded 150% of its weekly projection. This performance is related to greater efficiency in processes and the strengthening of controls to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
The increased revenue demonstrates the movement of goods and the management of foreign trade operations. The strengthening of customs control and efficiency contributes to facilitating agile, secure, and compliant trade, in addition to combating the entry of illicit goods.
