The 'Escape Beyond Tahiti' sale applies to select voyages booked by July 31.

A preview of Aranoa, due to debut early next year RENDERING: ARANUI CRUISES
Tahitian cargo cruise line Aranui Cruises is slashing 20% off voyages in 2026 and 2027 and offering onboard credit to encourage passengers to go beyond Tahiti and see more of French Polynesia.
As part of the "Escape Beyond Tahiti" sale, cruises are discounted by up to A$2,000 per couple, with an onboard credit of A$700 per cabin, when select voyages are booked by July 31.
The promotion is available on four 13-day voyages to French Polynesia's Austral archipelago, departing April 12, May 15, June 2 and 19, 2027 aboard the new ship Aranoa, set to debut early next year and carry 198 passengers.
She will visit all five inhabited islands including Rapa, on a trip priced from A$8,524 per person twin-share, a reduction of $A836 per person.
Aranoa's Austral Islands itineraries excluding Rapa and featuring either Maupiti or Huahine start from A$8,194 per person twin-share, a saving of more than A$800 per person.
At present, Aranui offers the only way to visit the five inhabited Austral Islands — Tubuai, Rurutu, Rimatara, Raivavae and Rapa.
Rapa is only accessible by sea and Aranui is the only cruise line permitted to call at this tiny community of just 500.
Rapa is only included in a limited number of voyages, as Aranui Cruises is committed to creating just a small, sustainable flow of tourism.
The "Escape Beyond Tahiti" sale also includes Aranui 5's 13-day roundtrip voyages from Papeete to the northern Marquesas Islands, departing December 5 and 19, as well as the first 10 voyages of 2027 between January and June.
