Celebrity Cruises' eight-ship summer season in Europe is now underway, following repositioning voyages of six ships.
Joining the Celebrity Infinity, which has been sailing in the region on a year-round basis, the vessels recently completed trans-Atlantic crossings to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
The highlight of the season is the Celebrity Xcel, which completed the company's fleet in the region in late May.
After entering service in late 2025, the new Edge-class vessel is spending its first summer in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
The ship's deployment in the region includes departures from Barcelona and Piraeus for a series of seven- to 11-night itineraries to destinations in Spain, Malta, Greece, Turkey, France and Italy.
Highlights of the season include 11-night cruises to Madeira Island that sail to additional ports in Portugal and Morocco.
The Xcel is joined by the Celebrity Ascent, the Celebrity Equinox and the Celebrity Constellation, which are also offering seasonal deployments in the Mediterranean.
Continuing its year-round operations on the continent, the Infinity is sailing to Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean during summer.
Sailing from Piraeus, the ship's itineraries are highlighted by visits to less common destinations in the region, such as Hydra, Thessaloniki and Kavala.
The Celebrity Eclipse and the Celebrity Apex are currently offering summer cruises in Northern Europe, with itineraries visiting destinations in Scandinavia, the British Isles, Iceland, the Baltic and more.
An eighth ship, the Celebrity Silhouette, is also scheduled to reposition to Europe later this year for a series of cruises to Iceland.
Currently sailing to Bermuda from Cape Liberty, the Solstice-class vessel will offer seven-night cruises from Reykjavik between early July and late August.
The ship's "Iceland Intensive" itineraries circumnavigate the island, visiting Seydisfjordur, Isafjordur and Akureyri.
Celebrity's season in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe ends in November, with ships repositioning to the Caribbean and the Canary Islands.
