Zadar Cruise Port hosted one of the world's most prestigious ultra-luxury automotive experiences, the Ferrari Cavalcade Cruise 2026, reinforcing the city's growing reputation as a destination for premier luxury events. The event brought together nearly 300 collectors and "Cavallino" clients, invited aboard the ultra-luxury cruise ship Explora II, while over 120 cars were displayed at Zadar Port, preparing for the Croatian leg of the tour.
The impeccable coordination of vehicle logistics, passenger movement, and ship operations highlighted Zadar Cruise Port's capability to execute complex international operations while meeting the demanding standards of one of the world's most renowned luxury brands.
"Hosting the Ferrari Cavalcade is the latest recognition for Zadar Cruise Port and a reflection of what can be achieved through strong collaboration between our team, our partners, and the wider community," stated Rebeka V. Pevec, MBA, General Manager of Zadar Cruise Port.
"Organizing an event of this complexity required meticulous planning and impeccable coordination, and we are proud to have demonstrated Zadar Cruise Port's operational excellence, while showcasing the best Zadar has to offer to one of the world's most exclusive audiences," added Pevec.
Reserved exclusively for the brand's most select clients, the Ferrari Cavalcade is one of the company's most prestigious experiences, accessible only by invitation. Since its first edition in 2011, the event has visited world-renowned destinations such as Tuscany, Venice, Monaco, Dubai, Kyoto, San Francisco, and Patagonia.
This edition introduced a unique cruise format, seamlessly combining Ferrari's renowned driving experience with the luxury of sailing the Adriatic and Mediterranean aboard Explora Journey's vessel.
This 2026 placed Zadar Cruise Port at the center of the Croatian leg of the "Cavalcade," becoming the operational hub for one of the event's most iconic experiences in the Adriatic.
Upon disembarking from Explora II at ZCP, passengers reunited with their Ferraris before departing in a procession through Zadar's historic peninsula, creating one of the largest concentrations of that brand's cars ever seen in the city. Framed by the centuries-old architecture and the peninsula's waterfront, the convoy continued its journey south along some of Croatia's most spectacular coastal roads.
Behind the scenes, organizing an event of this caliber required close collaboration between Zadar Cruise Port, Ferrari, Canossa Events, local authorities, and partners. Over 120 cars were transported overnight to ZCP, where they were carefully positioned along the pier before the arrival of passengers aboard Explora II.
Beyond its operational success, the event provided exceptional international exposure for both Zadar Cruise Port and the city. The Ferrari Cavalcade attracts an influential audience of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and collectors from around the world, with extensive coverage through the brand's official communication channels and its global digital platforms.
The event showcased Zadar's historic waterfront, maritime infrastructure, and cultural heritage to an international luxury sector audience, further reinforcing the city's growing reputation as a destination capable of hosting premier luxury events.
