Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has highlighted a selection of Golf & Cruise voyages for 2027 and 2028, allowing golf enthusiasts to play at courses around the world.
These specially designed themed cruises offer personalized experiences tailored to guests' level of play, allowing them to hone their skills.
Guests can also add individual packages on all routes sailing on the Europa and Europa 2 even outside the Golf & Cruise voyages, the cruise line said in a statement.
These range from introductory courses to training programs for beginners and experts, to bespoke arrangements for individual parts of a cruise.
Furthermore, golf simulators onboard allow for training during days at sea, including virtual rounds on international golf courses and targeted technical training.
Video analysis with high-speed cameras helps guests analyze their swings, while a PGA golf professional, who stays onboard all year round, provides assistance onboard and on the course at each destination.
The basic Golf & Cruise package includes support from PGA golf professionals as well as organizational services for the days of golf ashore.
Golf excursions in small groups are available on selected cruises, with the PGA golf professional leading a group warm-up on the course.
Examples of Golf & Cruise voyages in 2027 and 2028:
The route from Mallorca to Tenerife combines golf destinations in southern Spain and North Africa with a finale on the volcanic island. This cruise is accompanied by golf pro Stefan Quirmbach, a German golf expert and President of the PGA of Germany.
Guests play on courses in Sri Lanka and Malaysia, from tropical coastal courses and rainforest fairways to parkland courses. The cruise is accompanied by André Sallmann, a trainer with the German national men's team and former golfer.
